Lists. Yours, and God's. "Love...does not take into account a wrong suffered" (I Cor 13:5). God tells us not to keep lists. Man, that's convicting! All my life I have struggled with the proverbial elephant's memory of everyone who slighted, attacked, or hated me. It's freeing however to consider that we don't need to remember this junk. It leads to bitterness, which affects everyone around you (Heb 12:15). And you know what, God doesn't let those people slide. He keeps accounts. He keeps score. "...Who judges rightly" (I Pet 2:23). Don't keep lists, brother, let God.
